Le Cler Wine

This charming walking street is very close to the Hotel Prince. Here you will experience shopping like a true Frenchie. I have been in France for quite a while but it’s still a treat to buy bread, cheese and wine in different shops. The French shop practically everyday, and understandably since the refrigerators here resemble mini bars in hotel rooms. I admit there are times when I would like to keep two month’s worth of food in a sub-zero, but most of the time I appreciate the freshness and incredible taste of dinner straight from the marketplace.

Be sure to check out the fromagerie (cheese shop), there are over three hundred different cheeses here and it certainly smells like it. In France can you find three hundred different kinds of cheese, in America you can find three hundred different kinds of diet bars, but that’s not quite the same thing, is it?
